The short version: we collect the minimum we need to send you your order and answer your emails. We don't sell your data to anyone, ever.

What we collect and why
Name, email, delivery address and phone number, to process and deliver your order. Kept for 6 years for tax records.
Order history, to handle returns, refunds and questions. Kept for 6 years.
Your email address, if you signed up to our mailing list. Kept until you unsubscribe.
Messages you send us, so we can answer them. Kept for 2 years.
Website usage data through cookies, to keep the site working and understand what's useful.
We never see or store your payment card details — those go straight to our payment provider.
Who we share it with
Only the companies we need to, to get your order to you: our payment provider, to take payment securely; our fulfilment partner and the delivery company, who receive your name and delivery address so the parcel reaches you; and Wix, who host this website and store our order records.
We don't share your data with anyone else, and we never sell it. Some of these companies operate outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the safeguards required under UK data protection law.
Cookies
This site uses cookies to keep your basket working, remember your preferences and measure how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though turning off essential ones will stop the shop working properly.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to show you what data we hold about you, correct anything that's wrong, delete your data where we're not legally required to keep it, stop using it for marketing, or send you a copy in a portable format.
Email support@samillystore.com and we'll deal with it within one month. There's no charge.
If you're not happy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Marketing emails
We only email you marketing if you asked us to. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
Children
This shop sells products for children, but it's designed for adults to buy from. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top.
